Our aim at Lucy-Jane is to make your design into a perfect pattern. But what is a perfect pattern? Technically it will fit well on the model, be cut to take into account the properties of the fabric, and for production be easy to sew and minimise waste.  In the end it needs to look and feel great in the opinion of all involved - designer, wholesaler, retailer and customer in an industry of constant change. But note that fashion is inherently subjective and changeable and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

CREATIVE PATTERN CUTTING

Our pattern cutting service includes:
Bespoke pattern cutting work, one calico toile per garment and one set of alterations, printed paper copy of your pattern (if required) and digital file

CONSULTATIONS/FITTINGS

Consultations are £35 for 1 hour which is redeemable against your first pattern cutting order
Fittings out of the studio £35/hr including travel time
Fittings at Lucy-Jane included within price

OTHER SERVICES

Digitising or Checking and altering non- Lucy-Jane patterns £35/hr
Translation of patterns into or out of Gerber to other file formats (Eg DXF) £25 per pattern
